Drugs in our Drinking Water?

Can this really be true? Well, my friend it is very true. Among all the chemicals and garbage that is present. We have an alarming smell of chlorine in our water. Our water tastes just like it as well. Yes it has been tested and has been in their "safe" zone.  But drugs such as Tylenol? Or say an antibiotic such as Amoxacilin? Are you kidding me. Well, this article is not kidding you. It's true.
A vast array of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows.

To be sure, the concentrations of these pharmaceuticals are tiny, measured in quantities of parts per billion or trillion, far below the levels of a medical dose. Also, utilities insist their water is safe."

You can read the rest of the article here

Is that not incredible?  It just truly amazes me that they still think our "drinking water" is safe.

Thoughts?
